Troy University Waiver Requirement
If you have adequate health insurance provided from your home country or purchased in the United States, you may opt out of the Troy University coverage. The alternate coverage must meet specific criteria and an insurance waiver must be provided to the International Student Advisor within 15 days from the beginning of a semester. Students choosing to opt out of the university insurance policy may request a waiver form from an international student advisor. The form must be completed by an official of the student's insurance company and returned to the international student advisor.
