University of Oregon Waiver Requirement
To request a waiver of the UO health insurance, your health insurance must meet or exceed the following criteria:
Coverage must be in effect no later than the first day of class for the term and must remain in effect for the entire academic year or the portion of the academic year that you are a registered student at the University of Oregon.
Medical benefits of at least $1,000,000 per injury or illness per policy year.
Deductible of no more than $500 per injury or illness.
Medical evacuation benefit of no less than $50,000 or will cover actual costs.
Repatriation of remains benefit of no less than $50,000 or will cover actual costs.
Medical benefits must be payable in the United States.
