University of North Carolina at Charlotte Waiver Requirement
Your health plan must meet the following minimum requirements:
1. Full sickness and accident coverage per plan year
2. Medical benefits of at least $50,000 per accident or illness per plan year
3. Repatriation of remains in the amount of at least $7,500
4. Medical evacuation expenses of the student back to his/ her home country of at least $10,000
5. Pregnancy and mental health benefits (must be comparable to the benefits offered in the Student Insurance plan)
